The Wednesday Letters

As a mom of a toddler I am often looking for a story that has depth but is also easy to read since I am constantly interrupted. Does that make sense? I am sure it does to most moms.

This book was very easy to read and I could pick it back up after an interruption without a problem. I loved this story. I loved it because it made me think and think about the ending. It's about forgiveness. I think it's easy to tell people that they have to forgive or forget but until you are in the situation you never know what you will do.

I originally disagreed with the ending of this book. I thought it was unrealistic and like a Christian fairytale. It wasn't until I looked closer at my own life that I realized that I, too was once faced with an obstacle (although different than the one in the story) and I chose forgiveness. Read the book.

Lacy, I am so honored that you enjoyed the book! And thank you for saying such kind things about the ending. I struggled with that myself. Would people be willing to forgive at such a high level? I sure hope so.

Thanks again!
