love getting mail

I got my new camera today. Woo Hoo! I have a Canon Rebel for my photography endeavors but sometimes that baby is heavy and hard to lug around. So a few years back I bought what I thought was the greatest compact digital camera...a Nikon CoolPix 5600. It definitely served it's purpose and it still runs great. The problem is that technology keeps getting better and I need more. I need more mega pixels, I need a better video recording option, faster speed, and if I am being picky... a slimmer camera.

So I bought the Casio Exilim 10.1 mp camera when it was on sale. This baby will fit well in my purse and hopefully it will serve as a video camera and digital camera all in one. We will soon find out once it's done charging.
I think I should also give you an update on our upcoming move. We found out we are definitely moving but at this point we don't have a specific date yet. Just a time frame of about 60 days (give or take). We are so excited though and I would be packing right now if it weren't for my realistic husband who insists that we will still need some items out of boxes. I guess it's just my 'get everything done NOW' personality. I am glad I have him to balance me out. If not we might be using boxes for dinnerware, furniture, and entertainment for the next 60 days.
