finally

I finally got some free time to work on a new bag that I will be taking with me to visit family in less than 2 weeks. Warm weather here we come! Anyways, as you probably know by now I like to make something new for a trip and I had some new fabric calling my name. Here are the prints I bought.

It's Anna Maria Horner's new line, Good Folks and I absolutely adore it. The blue fabric was calling my name so I made a bag. I used the market bag pattern from Sandi Henderson. Her patterns are so easy to follow.

The pictures doesn't do it much justice but after spending a few hours working on the purse I had to snap a picture and get on to more important things like dishes. blah!

I also managed to get a little ahead of schedule and got my son's valentine's day cards done. He loved putting them together with me and it's so nice to finally have him at the age where he can help and enjoy it. We bought some candy valentines because every 4 year old LOVES candy but and added a cute printable card that I downloaded for free here. We stapled the two together and wa-la...we're done.
