inspired

One of the things I love most about blogging is reading other blogs.  There are so many talented people out there with so many great ideas.  Most of the decorating or creafts come from other blogger's ideas.

I often put my own spin on things.

So when I saw the butterfly wall art project on {the csi project} I was inspired and even better...knew the perfect place for something similar.

This crafty {blogger} made this.

Click on the link to see how she did it.

I bought an old wood frame with a hideous deer print in it at my local thrift store for $2.00 and held on to it until I found the perfect project to use it for in my daughter's room.

One of her walls has been a little bare for too long.
So with my trusty can of spray paint, some old catalogs, and my new Marth Stewart Butterfly punch that I used my coupon to buy of course I made my own version of the butterfly art.

Now the wall has some more color!
Hope you had a great 4th of July!!

I continue to see this project, and I love it just as much each time. I keep telling myself that I am going to make one too, but have yet to get around to it. You've done a great job (I really like the green and teal!!). Thank you for sharing your project.
